well i am insanely excited since i'm in north america and watch the late show with david letterman. i hope this happens! i would love to see JYJ on TV for the first time! *squeal* that would be fantastic!!! ^^

Although no official sources have confirmed the event, it looks like New York City will be treated with more than just a tour concert soon! Word has it that the power trio JYJ (Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu) might be making a special appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman in the near future.

A Naver cafe for Synnara Records recently posted new information on JYJ’s upcoming activities, including their global showcase tour and details of JYJ’s latest album. However, what caught many fans’ attention was the mention of a feature on the famous New York-based talk show.

“More surprising than Dark Child and Kanye West’s participation in JYJ’s album … They will be the first Koreans (probably Asians) to appear on the David Letterman show to sing the ending song,” the Naver cafe commented.

With six Primetime Emmy awards and countless celebrity appearances under its belt, the Late Show would undoubtedly serve as great exposure for JYJ in the States. Stay tuned to allkpop as we await more details on this matter!

[News] Micky YooChun on Bed Scene with Park MinYeong for Upcoming Drama SungKyunKwan Scandal

Micky YooChun gives a shy response when asked about his first acting attempt and his bed scene with actress Park MinYeong.

The press conference of upcoming KBS drama ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal was held on 15h July at the filming site of the drama. When asked about the bed scene he had to shoot with Park MinYeong, Micky said, “The bed scene with Park MinYeong.. Well in most dramas, we only get to see the bed…right?”

And about his first acting attempt, Micky said, “I have always had the Dong Bang Shin Ki Micky YooChun image since my singer debut, I think I can show various images through the characters in acting. And I am envious about that, and have decided to take up the attempt this time.”

Meanwhile, the cast for the drama Park MinYeong, Micky YooChun, Song JoongGi and Yoo AhIn were present for the press conference that day.

TVXQ group member Xiah Junsu was hospitalized in Los Angeles at around 10 PM on the 3rd.

Xiah Junsu had been suffering from a very high fever and fatigue since the afternoon. Staff members and company associates rushed him to the ER as his symptoms began to worsen. An associate of Xiah Junsu stated, “Xiah Junsu was hospitalized to a hospital in Koreatown in Los Angeles at around 10PM on the 3rd local time, or 2PM on the 4th of Korean time. Because it was the weekend, we tried over 20 hospitals before finally finding a hospital where he could receive proper treatment.”

Xiah Junsu has been busy with recording schedules, and as a result he continued getting a high fever and fatigue. At first, they didn’t think much of the situation because his symptoms were that of a common cold, but as the night went on, his symptoms worsened and he was then taken to the ER. When he reached the hospital, his fever reached over 40C. After receiving emergency care and some shots he has stabilized. This associate says, ” Xiah Junsu, plus the other 2 members are in America to record their album, and they have been pouring out their passion into the recordings. Thinking of meeting their fans after such a long time with their music, they became overenthusiastic and sang repeatedly without rest, and now their body has shown these signs of fatigue.”

The three members, including Xiah Junsu were hit hard with the shocking news of Park Yong Ha’s death. This associate said, “Hero Jaejoong was very close friends with Park Yong Ha, so the news gave him great mental shock and he was unable to even speak for awhile. All three members have been becoming more and more fatigued and even when staff members around them advised them to rest, they were concentrated in recording and in result their health has deteriorated to the point of finding the ER.”

TVXQ Member Hero Jaejoong shed tears to hear the sad news about Park Yong-ha.

Hero Jaejoong who is currently in the midst of recording in United States on the 30th has to hear the suicide news of his close friend Park Yong-ha and devoted himself in tears. Jaejoong said, “I really want to visit the room where Park Yong-ha coffin is placed now, what should I do. How could this happen to him.” he stopped as he’s burst in tears. “Yesterday (the 29th) we’re talking on the phone. We’re supposed to meet when I return to South Korea…”

A representative of Jaejoong said, “The relationship between Park Yong-ha and Jaejoong was more than just a close relationship. They tell each other everything. When Jaejoong heard about this sad news in America, he’s totally clueless and was bitter to know nothing about the incidence. The most heartbreaking thing is that he will have to stay in United States and won’t be able to visit Park Yong-ha’s coffin.”

Since Jaejoong and Park Yong-ha both pursue activities in Japan, they have established a close relationship. Staying in a foreign country, they started to share thoughts and opinions which then built close friendship between them for years.

3 members of Tohoshinki – Junsu, Jejung & Yuchun flew to America for a recording. An official confirmed on the 28th that the three are currently staying in America and are working on their new album.

They also said that “The three members are planning to release this album in August, so they are currently preparing for that. With Asia as their target, this album will be released under a well-known international recording label. ”

Songwriter Kim Hyun-Suk is the producer for this project, and popular American hip-hop singers Kanye West, Timbaland and others will also be involved.

Three members of 'TVXQ' have filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment following their exclusive contract injunction.

According to the Seoul District Courts, Xiah Junsu (Kim Junsu), Micky Yoochun (Park Yoochun) and YoungWoong Jaejoong (Kim Jaejoong) filed an exclusive contract validity suspension lawsuit on the 25th.

Sejong, the law firm in charge of the trio's legal actions, stated, "The exclusive contract period is thirteen years from the date they debuted, however, if military service is taken into consideration, the length of the contract is in fact fifteen years," and "This violates Clause 103 of the civil code." Clause 103 of the civil code states that any legal acts that violate good customs or public order will become invalid. Sejong also stated, "If the contract is canceled, the members must pay an extravagant compensation fee that is three times the amount of total investments and twice the amount of what the group would have earned in the remaining period of the contract."

Dong Bang Shin Ki’s three members – Xiah Junsu, Micky Yoochun and Youngwoong Jaejoong, who are currently involved in a lawsuit with their management company, SM, will work together with Kanye West, an influential figure in America’s pop music industry, for their upcoming album.

Born in 1977, Kanye West is an African-American producer, and has produced his own debut album “The College Dropout” as a singer in 2004. Thereafter, he went on to release four other albums, all of which topped the Billboard Charts, and have received awards in more than 13 categories in the Grammy Awards. He was once the producer of Jay-Z, Alicia Keys and Janet Jackson, and is currently running a hip-hop record company known as “GOOD Music”. He will, on either the 6th or 7th of this coming August, be headlining in the “Summer Week&T 2010” organized by SK Telecom.

The spokesperson of the three members expressed on the 16th that “they will be going over to Kanye West’s production studio to work on the upcoming album soon. Besides Kanye West, they will also work with pop singer Timbaland in LA and Miami for this production.”

The above matter has been confirmed in Jung Jae Yun’s blog. Jung Jae Yun was once a member of the group SOLID, and on the 15th, he wrote on his blog, stating that “40% of the income of Japanese company, AVEX, comes from Dong Bang Shin Ki alone; (DBSK) are extremely influential artistes.
