091006 AYAKA’S BEST ALBUM HAS BEEN RANKED NO 1 TWO WEEKS IN A ROW, SETTING A NEW RECORD!
The debut song of THE TRAVELERS “HOME TOWN” is ranked number 10 in the weekly Oricon single ranking as of October 12. THE TRAVELERS is a comedian unit from a TV program “SUPPORT LOCALS VARAIETY SHOW!! TRAVELER”, broadcasted in 6 stations from Hokkaido to Fukuoka. There are 13 duos (21 persons) in the unit, all from YOSHIMOTO (T/N Famous comedian entertainment company in Japan), including TORU HOTOHARA (AMEAGARI KESSHITAI), TAKASHI&TOSHI, ORIENTAL RADIO, KENDO KOBAYASHI, HANNYA, CHYUTORIARU etc, and they support local areas.
6 CDs (each including 2 songs) were released, each to support the local areas, Hokkaido, Miyagi, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka. The Oricon ranking No 10 is the total number of the 6 CDs. On October 4th, there was an event celebrating the CD release at Kanagawa’s LAZONA KAWASAKI, and on their official HP, you can see their performances, and that the event was a great success.
Other than this, a duo from the Korean oriented 5 members’ group Tohoshinki, JAEJOONG & YOOCHUN’s “COLORS ~Melody and Harmony~ / Shelter” sold 149 thousand in their 1st week after release, and was ranked the weekly No 1.
