[NEWS]Tohoshinki Breaks Record – First Foreign Artist In 12 Years To Sell Over 200K In Singles For Initial Sales

the only thing left behind now would be an yearly No.1 ^^....

should we dare dreaming?

■First to break Elton John’s record of 12 years and 4 months(100202 )

Korean 5-member group Tohoshinki have made the record as the highest selling artist for foreign artists in the initial sales for singles category. Their 29th single 「BREAK OUT！」was released on 27 January and became first on the 8 February Oricon Singles Ranking Chart.

For the initial sales record for foreign artists, up until now, it had been held by Elton John’s “Memorial Song for the former British Princess Diana”, 「Candle In The Wind〜Tribute To Princess Diana, Britain’s Princess」(released September 1997), which sold 184,000 copies. In this area, Tohoshinki broke this record which lasted for 12 years and 4 months, by selling 254,000 copies of their single, becoming the first foreign artist in history to pass the 200,000 mark in initial sales.

In addition to becoming first place for foreign artists in initial sales, this will also be Tohoshinki’s 7th work to add on to their list of achievements for getting a #1 single, making this a double achievement for them.

Their first single in 2010 is also the theme song for NHK Drama 8’s 『とめはねっ！鈴里高校書道部』. The B-side to this song is the solo number 「XIAHTIC」which was written, composed and arranged by Junsu.

Here's something to drool on today...

[FANVID]Soulmate||Break Out!

Previously Sherry posted a JJ flash version from Break Out HERE and we both thought it would be nice to have a Soulmate version too...I actually first wanted to make some caps and gifs but in the end it turned into an fanvid XD....I hope you'll like it...it's been a while since I made a fanvid so I'm taking is slowly mixing only one video at the time :P

HOLLY SOMETHING I MADE A TYPO tt__tt....THAT'S WHAT IT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ARE IN A HURRY

*the caps and gifs will come later meanwhile if you missed them check out what we already had posted HERE

I was thinking about this MV..apparently it displays their fears...as far as I know YooChun has an issue with marriage...yes to children but no to marriage...and JJ really hates airports coz he apparently doesn't like to be touched(he still doesn't mind it when Chun hugs, grabs or bytes him o_O XD)...the maybe u-know is afraid of bugs?...Junsu of getting old?(by the way take care of you Su) and Min about about being stuck in the past...not evolving?....well just some presumptions after I've seen the vid so many times XD

I am hoping for a Soulmate version of this...

[CAPS+GIFS]JJ&YC@Break Out PV

* I'm waiting for the offshoot...or maybe not ? T__T...maybe not...ah well if there is some soulmate stuff and the whole team would interact T__T...but I doubt the last...however...WE KEEP THE FAITH ETERNALLY,right?...that's what Break Out is about...fighting, faith, us having faith in their friendship....let's hope the 30th single will be a sunnier one..

* official lyrics are out XD...kya...even if the PV is so dark, somehow creepy and really there is no break out in the end...we still have those lines...faith...eternally...I personally believe that the lyrics and the whole PV was meant to fit the whole situation...there would be so much to interpret here but I won't..as loyal fans we may probably think so much alike..and I still don't like the title...sorry boys T_T...Break Free maybe it would have been better...oh...thought I can't keep silent regarding this XD...why on the earth they put Xiah to play the old men...didn't recognized him at first but I was "Hey Look the Greedy SM is in too!" but then it turned out it's Su XD...shame on me

A dark video on dark times times... Break Out!

Most fans ask why there wasn't scene where they are together. One could only wonder for now. But as the song's message say, we should keep the faith.

[VIDEO+LYRICS+TRANSLATION]THSK - Break Out! (3.15 Preview)

Credits: luvdbsk77@YT

surprise...a real surprise for me...toho boys did it again..XD..after I heard the preview I was afraid that this single would turn out be too pop-ish for me...but XD it just blown away my mind...of course in a good way...like all of you here I can't wait for the MV and for the dance of course...really I can't find a possible way to get tired/bored of these wonderful five boys...I like the explosive tune, the beats and omg...yoochun's part...that's really something...so this leads to a question...who wrote the lyrics, because we all love these lyrics, right?...and the most important part was sung in english so most likely every fan will understand it

I keep praying,
Don't forget it,
Baby, we keep the faith eternally!

thank you...sometimes I felt like I was about to loose the faith but if it will happen again I will listen to this song.....ah...baby=casssiopea XD....

...music is an art and art uses its various tools to express feelings, beliefs...a message to us fans...what better way convey their feelings?...the power, positive feelings passed by this songs are overwhelming...there is also something between excitement and fear...new beginnings ...break out...let's cross the purple line...XD

P.S: I'm still not liking the title...even if "Break Out"( from SM) sounds great...as I listen to the song now sometimes it comes out differently...you know what I'm talknig about right?...but maybe it was meant to be like that...part of the plan, message?...maybe I'm just thinking too much...

[SCAN]THSK@Break Out Card

I presume it's the break out a card :P...somehow the concept looks very autumn like...maybe there was a delay regarding the release date?...I'm still not liking the title but I remember when the news about this single came out I copied a presumed part of the lyrics...hm

"Grab your own future, be positive and keep on going,
then your destiny will become bright! It is all up to you!"

we still have to wait...T___T...
